Ethan and Baylee are so stinkin’ CUTE! They met while Baylee was a cashier at their local Menards Store. Apparently Ethan thought Baylee was cute and starting asking around to see if she was interested, but Baylee did not return the affection at first! Now, they have an ease with one another that comes from years of dating and enduring love between them. Good thing Ethan kept up the pursuit!
It was such a pleasure to photograph their engagement session at the beautiful Capital Bluffs Event Center in Jefferson City, Missouri (thanks Capital Bluffs!). We had so many choices for backdrops when taking their engagement photos, including beautiful rolling golf course hills, lakes galore, and a magnificent willow tree on the grounds, in addition to the Capital Bluffs Event Center wedding venue space. Ethan also owns an old truck that he loves to work on and drive, and they decided to incorporate that into their engagement photos. When in doubt, I say couples should ALWAYS bring the vintage truck to your engagement shoot! Parts of yourselves - hobbies, family heirlooms, shared interests - are wonderful things to work into your session.
These two are going to blessed by wonderful friends and family on their wedding day, and I could not be more joyful for them. I am SO excited to be part of their day and photograph their wedding next Fall!
