What a beautiful summer day! The flowers were in full bloom and the boats were buzzing along the lake for Nick and Irene’s wedding day celebration at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
These two are such a sweet couple. Fun fact: Nick and Irene originally met in Hong Kong! Nick spent several years there while coaching Team Hong Kong’s National Bowling Team, and Irene is originally from Hong Kong. They decided to move to the United States after Nick received an offer to coach at a university in Illinois. It was extra special to have their closest friends and family join them for a destination wedding weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks - both from the States and around the world - to share in their special day.
They had their First Look as well as their vows to each other in the blooming Japanese Gardens of the Lodge. My husband (and pastor) Andy was the officiant! We explored the grounds and found some beautiful lake locations perfect for portraits of this sweet couple and their best friends. I always love a boat buzzing in the background! The sun finally peeked out of the clouds at the end of the night while we were at the rooftop bar, and we captured a few shots of wedded bliss.
It was a beautiful day and I’m so glad I was able to be part of it! Congrats to Nick & Irene on your amazing destination wedding celebration at the Lodge of Four Seasons!
